1. Our role
Softstar Movement LLC is an independent sales organization / agent that refers businesses to payment processing partners. Merchant accounts are provided and underwritten by our partner processors and their sponsor banks, not by Softstar Movement. Approval is subject to the processor's underwriting.
2. Savings estimates
Savings calculator results and rate reviews are estimates based on the information you provide and typical pricing. Actual rates and savings depend on your card mix, transaction volume, risk profile, card brand fees and the final agreement you sign. Estimates are not a guarantee of savings.
3. Fees and agreements
All rates, fees, equipment costs, early termination terms and payout schedules will be stated in your merchant processing agreement. Please review that agreement carefully before signing.
4. Surcharging and cash discount programs
Surcharging and dual pricing programs must comply with card brand rules and applicable state laws. You are responsible for proper signage, disclosure and compliance; we will help you configure programs according to current rules.
5. Compensation
Softstar Movement may receive compensation from processing partners based on the accounts we refer.
6. PCI compliance
Merchants are responsible for maintaining PCI DSS compliance. We can help you complete self-assessment questionnaires and secure your network as part of our managed IT services.
7. Statement uploads
Processing statements you upload are used only to prepare your rate review and are handled under our Privacy Policy.
